The Bar and Barista Job Connect is a two-day program for international students wanting to get a job in the hospitality industry.
Hospitality and tourism is a dynamic industry that can offer you opportunities across all of Western Australia. With many job opportunities currently available there’s never been a better time to start working in the industry.
This program provides comprehensive training, typically valued at $690 per person:
- Hospitality Food Service
- Hospitality Bar Basics
- Guided Online Responsible Service Alcohol (RSA)
- Barista Basics
- Online COVID-19 Hygiene training
During the training, you will be supported in finding and applying for jobs in the industry.
This training program is brought to you by Tourism Western Australia and is being delivered on their behalf by the Australian Hotels Association WA (AHA WA).

Date: Monday 15 & Tuesday 16 May 2023 (Please note this is a two-day trainning course, you must be available both days)
Time: 9.00am – 4.30pm (Please arrive at 8.45am on Day 1 to allow time for registration)
Venues: Day 1, Monday – Five Senses Training Academy 135 Lake St, Northbridge WA 6003
Day 2, Tuesday – Lot Twenty 20/57 James St, Perth WA 6000
Cost: $10pp
Morning tea and lunch will be provided each day.
